She was fascinated by the sound of my camera, and I found her to be quite a fascinating subject to photograph; now one of my favorites, for she always finds me with my camera and loves close-up shots. Taken August 2009.
As I was driving into Poplar the cows were in the front field for their morning breakfast. Of course I had to jump out of the car for a photoshoot. It is quite intimidating standing amongst such large creatures, and even more when one starts heading straight for you, even though all she wanted was a hello rub on the nose. Taken at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary in August 09.
I have always loved photography, I even took a class in college hoping to become a professional photographer one day, but it wasn’t until I started volunteering at the sanctuary that a hobby turned into a serious passion. This photo of Victor the Turkey was taken at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary in April with my Sony Cyber Snapshot.

Here it goes…I am officially going to start posting my 2009 portfolio pictures. The first few you have probably already seen either from facebook or this website, but each picture has been upgraded with either a new look, a new signature, or both. This was shot back in January when we had our first major snowfall of the season. Bridgette looked absolutely beautiful against the snowy background. This was taken with my Sony cyber snapshot.
